Suddenly I see a guy pop up behind them, as if out of nowhere … and he reshapes them with a touch. They become these … horrific, twisted art sculptures almost. When the guy left I chased him down into an alley and … asked him if he could teach me to do that too.

He couldn’t teach me that, but he made it so that I could harness cursed energy. That’s how I gained my shikigami

… although, ever since the resurrection, I can’t summon it.

It may have something to do with the fact he had to alter my brain. Maybe something during the resurrection returned it to how it was originally.
