[Ianthe dipped the tip of a golden phalange into her tankard, idly stirring the ale as she thought about it.]
The bodies were badly burned. I didn't lay eyes upon any curse marks, but I was able to restore their faces enough that they were identifiable as part of this community by others.
The curse marks, according to its legend, are bestowed by the Void. All of us here have then save for the prepubescent children. Given that we - the Void-touched - all have then despite not being from this village, lends me to think that any independent outside civilizations would as well. After all, to get here they would need to pass through the Void.
[She picked up her tankard for another gulp.]
There have been corpses sent for Resurrection that didn't possess their marks due to damage. They all resurrected as expected. Anything beyond that is speculation.
[ Robin nodded and let her gaze drop, as if Ianthe's answer helped quiet some of those thoughts down. ]
Their families must be distraught. [ A pause. ] It's just that... Alicent believes that if children were actually responsible, they weren't from here. So that made me wonder if that could've been the case with the victims as well.
But I don't even know if there's evidence that children were present. [ She shook her head, eyes shut. With a sigh, she finally raised the tankard for a sip. ] You're right, it's speculation. Probably too much.
You're probably right. Alicent — well, even being compromised, I don't want to rule out everything she has to say. Especially if it concerns the young ones.
[ Her behavior didn't suggest that she was intent on harming anyone, young or otherwise. Not from anything Robin had seen or heard from her, at least. ]
What about you, Ianthe? [ She'd heard what she had told Iggy — about not wanting to expose herself to the Void again. ] Have you been feeling alright...?
[Alicent was too emotionally unbalanced for rational thought after that dream for Ianthe to give anything she said credence, but what others did with her was their business.]
Yes. Just a little overworked. I might go look into that new region the hunters said they found today. In a few days when others have confirmed its not a trick of the Void.
Given all the death, I'm sure many will flock to escape for a bit. It'll make it clear soon enough if it's... safe enough.
[ Robin quietly considered it for a moment. It's not like she'd have a valid motivation to go out there, except to see if she could actually find a way out, but even that would require more resources than she was willing to spend. Mental and otherwise. ]
Just doing my best to help us all get along with the villagers and figure this shit out.
[She flashed a bit of a smile.] Besides, I like seeing you. I'd like to hear you sing again sometime. You know, when everything isn't full of Void bullshit.
[As she took a drink, Ianthe let her eyes wander over Robin as though she was mentally undressing her. To be fair, she kind if was, but it wasn't a conscious act. A week in the chastity belt was starting to get to her.]
Until then, we have ale. And hopefully no more bodies.

[Or a lie. She was inclined to think Grady was the one that set the women on fire.]
And Alicent is compromised. Take care in your investigations. This all reeks of the Void to me.

Do you have any theories? About what they might find out there?

[Ianthe shrugged a shoulder.]
Intense paranoia and obsession if there for too long. By that I mean weeks, not just a few days.

If you decide to go, will you reach out to me?

[Ianthe drained her tankard and moved into the other one.]

[She would, in fact, fail to do so.]

[ Her drink was being a little neglected, so she worked on that. ]
Thank you for answering my questions.

I like seeing you too, Ianthe. And I'd love to sing for you. Hopefully that'll be soon.
